I strongly believe in the idea of investing in fashion pieces you love. Rather than spending quick cash on an item that is not the greatest return on investment. This is why I am always willing to fork out a little money on something that I know I’ll use frequently. However, this doesn’t mean you need to over splurge every time. For instance, I have a special place in my heart for handbags but some designer brands can cost well over $1k! Although, these are certainly special, not all good quality designer handbags need to cost as much. There are plenty of amazing, on-trend designer bags that are $350 or less – here are my favorites!
Snapshot Small Camera Bag – $325
Whether it is clothing, shoes or handbags, Marc Jacobs continues to impress me with their fresh designs and unique take on everyday items. I have been a fan for so long now and have definitely looked to them as a designer bag resource. The Snapshot Camera Bag is the perfect crossbody to add to your look. This silhouette comes in a variety of color ways – all with really fun, graphic straps that makes it stand out even more.
Bissett Canvas Bag – $295
When it comes to excellence in architectural design, look no further than STAUD as your affordable designer handbag haven. They’ve done an amazing job creating really unique silhouettes that you cannot find anywhere else. My favorite handbag from them is the Bissett Canvas Bucket Bag. This is the ideal neutral statement bag that is perfect for the spring and summertime. I love the natural canvas color because it compliments almost any look.
Zoe Leather Clutch – $205 (ON SALE!)
If you are on the hunt for something more eccentric and eye catching, definitely check out the Zoe Leather Clutch from Danse Lente – it’s currently on sale at Net-A-Porter. It ticks off all the things I personally adore in a good handbag – structure, interesting shape, and practicality, making it the bag a work of art and a fashion accessory!
Little Lady Lizard Embossed Bag – $294 (ON SALE!)
Size doesn’t matter – especially when it looks this good! The Little Liffner Little Lady handbag is a micro handbag dream come true. Not only is it in the ever trendy snakeskin print, but its petite size makes it minimal and trendy. As they claim on the website, it all the essentials (card, lipstick, and phone) without weighing you down on the dance floor.
Small Bucket Bag – $238 (ON SALE!)
I seem to have a weakness for bucket bags because this one from Trademark immediately sparked my interest. Its elongated shape and animal embossing are the details that set it apart from the rest of the bags out there. This is a great way to incorporate that laid-back Parisian vibe to every outfit.
Kaia Bag – $298
From the company you rapidly introduced the iconic wood Ark bag, Cult Gaia continues to shake up the game with their specialty handbags.
I have fallen in love with their Kaia bag – a raffia baguette shaped clutch featuring a really fun beaded strap. I love the natural aesthetic of this bag that makes it perfect for the spring and summer season.
Mimi Crossbody – $295
For those inclined to the more feminine, girly things in life, this Mimi crossbody bag is a match made in heaven. It takes classy chic to a whole new level thanks to the pearl white bead construction. That along with the timeless crossbody shape and gold hardware makes it a really sophisticated designer bag ideal for dressing up any outfit.
Trigger Satchel – $208 (ON SALE!)
If you’re looking for a practical tote, I really can’t recommend the Trigger from Botkier enough. It features pockets, zips, and compartments so you can stay organized inside. I love that it’s functional for the workplace but is also perfect for the weekends.
Metropolis Shoulder Bag – $256 (ON SALE!)
For a high-end look without the high-end price, you can’t go wrong with Furla. The Metropolis Shoulder bag (which is currently on major sale at Bloomingdales) is such a lady-like piece that instantly dresses up any outfit. It works for an evening dress – or anytime you want to add some sophistication to your outfit.
Tabby Shoulder Bag – $350
Coach has really stepped up their bag game lately and I’ve been eyeing this shoulder bag. The pebbled leather, baguette shape, and iconic “C” hardware makes it so ideal for fall! It definitely looks more expensive than it costs. I also love the dark burgundy color!
