INSTAGRAM OUTFITS ROUND UP: BIDDING FAREWELL TO SUMMER

Date: Posted on Category: Fashion, Outfit Location: ,
This post marks my official farewell to summer! Though I enjoyed a season of nonstop travel and frolicking stylishly in the sun, I must admit, I’m ready for a change of weather. But before we officialize that and seal away summer for good, I wanted to recap the end of summer Instagram outfits I wore. Since the season isn’t officially over until the 21st of this month – and late October if we go by the weather – there’s plenty of opportunity to wear out those summer pieces. So, if you’re in need of some last minute inspo, hopefully you’ll find that below!

I can’t tell you how many leopard printed skirts I’ve caught on Instagram – and even during fashion week. You can rock the trend now by pairing it with fluttery blouses or satin camis, then take it into fall with chunky knits and booties. I love how easy it is to work from day to night.

The Great Escape

Any final backyard soirees? No problem – go with an eyelet dress and ruffle slides! I have worn eyelet all season long basically and it’s the one fabric I’ll surely miss about summer. Ruffle slides will tone down the dressiness of a ruffle eyelet piece – plus, it’s just more appropriate for casual events. Your life will be easier when you’re constantly in an out of the house and chasing the kids.

Check Please

The great thing about checkered pieces is that even when fall rolls around, you can get away with wearing it. The new season will be plaid centric, so as long as you’re layered right, it works!

I gave this look a bit of a fall update with my new Furla bag. I’m obsessed with the black, white, and maroon color block design. The strap is buttery soft and so comfy over the shoulder. And for my shoes, can we just admire the sculptural heel design for a second? I’m going to miss wearing these!

Pink Alert!

Dolce & Gabbana gives me so many reasons to drool over their pieces, and I feel so lucky to be able to wear D&G from head to toe. Everything is always opulent, extravagant, and overly feminine – so normal to feel like a queen in their designs.

Seeing Stripes

Before fall rolls around, you might want to do some closet cleaning – you’ll never know what you may find. This photo is an exact capture of why… So glad I was finally able to put this stunning stripe dress and Cult Gaia belt to use. Plus, it just feels refreshing to get organized before a busy season kicks in.

If you’re looking to make old pieces feel new especially summer dresses you’ve worn repeatedly, grab a waist belt!

And finally let’s close out with a true transitional look. I love mixing elements that aren’t often found together like a flirty lace dress and utility boots. Remember that you have to be daring if you want to draw eyes – and mixing high-contrast colors and textures will do the trick. Stay tuned for more of this!

Hope you guys enjoyed my end of summer instagram outfits recap! If there’s anything you’d like to see coming up, please let me know in the comments!
