With summer kicking off soon and Father’s Day around the corner, I wanted to share some of my favorite (and affordable) home decor pieces that make for beautiful home upgrades. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t necessarily have to break the bank to make your home feel new. Adding in accent pieces, changing out old linens, and installing new lighting fixtures often do the trick. Scroll ahead for my top 10 picks!

My Amazon collection is almost ready for launch! I’ll be sharing more updates in the following week, so sign up here for updates!

1. Luxurious Towels

These towels are made from 100% Turkish cotton and feel splendidly soft. You’ll feel like you’re getting the spa treatment of your life right at home with this plush towel set. They absorb water especially well, maintain their shape/quality, and get softer with use

2. Satin Pillow Cases

One of the best home upgrades you can make is changing out your standard pillow cases for satin fabrications. The benefits to your hair and skin are immense, but they also look super luxe in themselves. These are under $15 for a set of 2 so you can go all out in your bedroom as well as the guest room. No one will know they’re not made from real silk.

3. Velvet Hangers

There are so many benefits to using velvet hangers. They don’t only maintain the quality and shape of your clothes, but also make your closet feel more uniform and high end. I also love that they take up so little space.

4. Gold Round Mirror

Gold round mirrors seem to be the trend these days – and it’s so easy to see why. They’re simple, elegant, and striking whether used on top of a mantle, as a bathroom mirror, or as decor. You can never go wrong using beautiful mirrors to elevate your home.

5. Artisanal Soap

Home upgrades don’t have to consist of full renovations. They can be as simple as adding artisanal soaps to your guest bathroom. These all-natural soaps are made from Bali and leave no soap residue behind. They’re formulated with organic ingredients, which keep the body hydrated and smelling amazing.

6. High-End Candles

Don’t confuse high-end with high price. I tend to stick to minimalist candles with simple designs for the fact that they look cleaner and more elegant. These are the perfect example – and you get a set of 2 (9oz) candles for under $40.  They’re made with soy wax, have a long-lasting burn, and smell super luxe. Pop one on your fireplace mantle, side table, or coffee table and boom!

7. Microfiber Bedsheets

When it comes to home upgrades, we hardly think about bedsheets, but they can truly be the difference between a dingy bedroom and a hotel-esque environment. The sheets look crisp and expensive – and no doubt feel extremely soft. If you’re looking for some affordable sheets to throw on a guest bed or want some backup bedding for yourself, these are it!

8. Faux Flowers

Spring and summer are the seasons to throw flowers into the home decor mix. If you don’t want to deal with the fuss of real plants, these artificial flowers won’t disappoint. You just need a really good vase to make a statement in your living room.

9. Table Lamp

If you want to give your nightstand a stylish look, this lamp strikes the perfect balance of modern and elegant. I love that it’s versatile enough to fit into various home aesthetics.

10. Pendant Light or Chandelier or Sconces

One of the best and most affordable home upgrades you can make is simply changing out light fixtures. Amazon has no shortage of chandeliers and pendant lighting to pick from.
