NYFW Day 3 / Look 1: MSGM Green Fur Coat (Sold out, but similar) | Green Sequin Skirt Similar | Isabel Marant Boots (Sold out, but Similar) | JW Anderson Pink Bag | Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Floral Neckerchief Similar
Yesterday slowed down drastically, but the shows were so good. The highlights of the day was of course Alexander Wang since it was my first ever, but Alice McCall and Johnathan Simkhai were also breathtaking. (If you missed my first two days, be sure to check out Day 1 and 2 here.)
My first look was this monochromatic green outfit. No surprises since I’ve been wearing green all season. The heart-shaped sunglasses were so much fun! But enough of my look, let’s get to the shows.
This entire collection was pure enchanting. I loved the use of pastels throughout each look, but the three here were my favorite - the lace details left me in awe. Although my style is typically edgy, I always go crazy for the playful, breezy ruffles that's characteristic of Alice McCall.

As today wasn’t as busy as my first two, I went in for a quick outfit change. I went with an edgier, structured outfit because I had Alexander Wang lined up. This Julianna Bass leather jacket with the fur collar completely pulled me together for the remainder of the day.
My start to Day 3 left me with high expectations, and Jonathan Simkhai did not fall short of it. I was instantly astonished by eyelet lacing and floor-grazing gowns. There was a great mix of deconstructed looks with more romantic ones which felt like a story to watch. I loved the sense of feminism and empowerment the show left me with.
Feminine, sensual, & empowering!
You never know what Alexander Wang might present; however, you always know he comes with an edge! I loved heavy leather and hot pink elements that defined the show. The presentation was just as amazing, set up in a cubicle-like environment. Never thought I’d sit in a place like this again, but he definitely made it feel cool.
Be on the lookout for a beauty round up coming soon because I had backstage access here and can’t wait to show you more looks from the models. Gotta run now, so talk tomorrow!
