THE PERFECT SHOES FOR ANY COACHELLA OUTFITS

So as I said recently, Coachella is already upon us and I’m sure you have your jeweled looks and flower crowns ready to go. You probably even have some perfect outfits all lined up, but what about your shoes? If you haven’t been to Palm Springs, then let me tell you that it’s super dusty and hot out there. Not to mention there are plenty of sharp rocks and thorny succulents that sometimes nip the toes. Although a true desert beauty, it can’t be a pain to walk through.

After my Coachella stint last year, I finally figured out the perfect shoes to wear that work in unpredictable weather and dusty trails but will keep you looking as fresh as ever! Here they are…

Espadrilles

As much as I love booties and sneakers, espadrilles are the best if you’re searching for a closed toe option and don’t want to deal with hot sweaty feet. I love that they come in various styles, making them a versatile shoe for all your spring and summer needs. I urge you to grab a pair of espadrille slip-on, try some wedges or a lace-up sandal. They’ll work flawlessly with any of your outfits and you’ll be able to wear them multiple days in a row. You’ll also get extra chic points if you match them to some trendy straw or net accessories.

Sneakers

Sneakers are the casual answer to any Coachella look. Whether you’re in denim cutoffs or decked out in lace, sneakers will keep you cool and comfortable. I love myself a great pair of sneakers nowadays especially when I’ll be on my feet for hours! Luckily, a new style has cropped up recently and it’s shaking up the fashion world.I’m betting it’ll be a huge hit at Coachella this year! So, if you’re looking to tone down your bohemian frocks, try a pair of chunky, dad sneakers!

Lace-up Boots

I don’t think combat boots could have come at a better time. Those with a chunky sole will work great for the unpaved roads out there, but a high-gloss finish will add an elevated touch. It all depends on the vibe you’re going for! I can see myself wearing lace-up boots with a denim mini and a vintage concert tee. If you’re looking to jazz up this basic style, try a floral print or swap out your laces for something bold and bright.

Western Ankle Boots

A safe but still relevant option for any music festival is western ankle boots. These are great if you’re wanting to play up those old desert vibes. And if it happens to rain, then you’re totally safe from feet to calves. If you’re not in the mood to bare your legs, then pairing western ankle boots with some vintage washed jeans will keep you in the game. They also look great with anything fringe or studded. I’m loving these boots in a cognac hue or white! But don’t forget to keep an eye out for unique buckles, unexpected embellishments, and metallic details.

Slides/Mules

If you’re after the comfy look and willing to take a little damage, then slides and mules might be the perfect choice for you! They’re comfortable and super easy to wear. Plus, you can easily take them off, which is perfect if you plan on lounging by the poolside. They also add that casual cool effect to all ensembles. Whether you’re donning a fun fruity print or a traditional Adidas slide, they’ll look as great with a breezy track pant as they would with a one-piece bikini. Trust me, they’re worth the risk!
