Kitten Heels

Kitten heels are back and I’m all for it! The feminine and satisfyingly look provides just enough lift and spring in your step while still maintaining an easy on-the-go vibe. Once upon a time, the classic Manolo kitten heel was the most covetable it-item I only dreamt about… These girls are pretty and practical, and can be paired with everything from tailored sweats to oversized suits.

Naked Sandals

With warm weather at the helm, the naked sandal will be the shoe of spring and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Sometimes called floss heels with their slim, foot-framing straps, these minimal “barely there” girls have been gaining popularity for quite some time now, from #oldCeline and St. Laurent to the Row’s cult pair. It will only continue to receive more interpretation from brands.

Toe Ring Sandals

This laid back cool-girl sandal trend adorning the big toe started showing up everywhere last summer and its popularity will continue through spring. My favorite looks combine the itty bitty naked straps in a flat toe-ring sandal for the perfect springtime vacation shoe or a leather slide chic enough to transition from brunch to a fun night out. (Also love these heels!)

NYFW had no shortage of highlighter brights and animal prints, and there’s no denying that now is the time to take risks with vibrant color pairings and eccentric graphic prints with footwear. I am loving the contemporary, sports-inspired ways the fashion crowd is wearing unusual pops of color. You can expect to see lots of corals and sea foam greens throughout the year.

Mesh

With a look and textures a little inspired by lingerie, this is another take on the naked shoe trend we’ve been seeing all over. Embraced in neutrals and bright colors alike, this is going to be the coolest way for you to wear shoes without looking like you’re just wearing shoes.

Feather

Feather details are already dominating as one of 2019’s biggest fashion trends and they provide the perfect party show embellishment. While not the most practical of shoe elements, it’s a stunning, ethereal feature that goes well with the barely-there sentiments and genuinely makes me smile.

Slingbacks

For all the futuristic looks on the list, we can always do a bit of nostalgia with a pop. Slingbacks with a trendy twist (re: kitten heels, animal print, pastels) will be an easy way to elevate your style this spring with something you likely already own some version of. On top of that, who else is ready for how comfortable these are?

Which one are you looking forward to wearing most?
