Art Deco Hotels, Versace, and Ocean Drive, South Beach is the perfect place for a quick getaway.
Beaches and bikinis, cocktails and cabanas, South Beach is definitely a little slice of paradise in Miami. Whether you’re looking to relax and get your tan on, party till the break of dawn, or if city exploring is more your speed, South Beach or SoBe to the locals, has something for you. This town doesn’t seem to stop or slow down, champagne is always flowing and the good times are always rolling too. I tried out quite a few restaurants during my stay here, and I highly recommend La Mar by Gaston Acurio at Mandarin Oriental. For the view alone, it’s worth going back for.
This trip gave me a chance to unwind and soak up some rays, as well as show off my new purchases and sartorial discoveries. I love finding fresh new designers and up and coming brands since they make pieces that are both innovative, on trend, playful, and affordable too!
One such designer is Shop Last Night. The shop owner also happens to be the amazing blogger behind Honey & Silk, so she certainly knows what designs fashion lovers (like me!) will fall for. This Ivy Dress has a sexy T-strap back which matches perfectly with the delicate and feminine floral print.
Summer won’t be complete with some playful gingham. This gingham two piece from UK brand Love Too True is made for girls who loves a bit of vintage in their closet. The bandeau with the A-line skirt is a winning ensemble on its own, and it is made so much more amazing because of the hand made love that went into it.
This psychedelic print dress from Lace & Whiskey is definitely exuding some 70s Woodstock vibe. The loose fit and the dipped hem keeps feeling fresh while making you look amazing. This frock shows off your gams, and your unique style too!
My South Beach vacation has got me refreshed and ready to take on the remainder of 2014. Never underestimate the power of taking break from your routine. I highly recommend it. Tread the off-the-beaten path. Try something new, whether it’s a new hobby, new travel destination, or a new dress from a new designer.
